Okay, turns out a lot of you don't know what a 'wishbone' is (I assumed everyone knew), here's some clarification:
"A forked bone (the furcula) between the neck and breast of a bird. According to a popular custom, this bone from a cooked bird is broken by two people, with the holder of the longer portion being entitled to make a wish"

here in greece we also have this tradition, but more specifically, we break the wishbone in order to predict if a pregnant woman we know will have a boy or a girl! i never expected that other cultures would practice it too!
